Menstrual Comfort Cream Description: Emerita® Menstrual Comfort Cream™ is designed by female physicians to naturally provide comfort during the menstrual period. It specifically supports menstrual comfort with soothing herbal extracts and essential oils that may help to promote uterine blood flow, uterine muscle relaxation, and decrease inflammatory prostaglandin production. Use: Emerita Menstrual Comfort Cream may be applied to the lower abdomen during menstruation, or to any area where soothing and comforting is desired. To use, dispense an amount to cover the intended area. Rub into area thoroughly. This product may be used multiple times per day. See insert for more detailed information. Ingredients: • Cramp Bark Extract (Viburnum opulus), an herb with a long history of use for menstrual discomfort. Research has documented its ability to promote relaxation of the uterine muscle.• Valerian Extract (Valeriana officinalis), which research has shown to promote relaxation of the smooth muscle of the uterus.• Alpha-Bisabolol, a constituent of chamomile (Matricaria recutita) - studies have established its ability to support prostaglandin balance.• Rosemary Oil (Rosmarinus officinalis), an herb traditionally used for discomfort related to menstruation. Studies have shown that it is well-absorbed through the skin and promotes relaxation of smooth muscle tissue.• Lavender Oil (Lavandula angustifolia), which has been demonstrated in research to promote smooth muscle relaxation.• Avocado Oil (Persea gratissima), a rich source of gamma-linolenic acid (GLA) that supports healthy prostaglandin balance.
