Astragalus Description: A major Chinese Qi tonic. Nature's Way Astragalus (Astragalus membranaceus) is harvested wild in Northern China and Mongolia. Early Chinese writings refer to it as "The Superior Tonic." Historically, Astragalus root ranks as one of China's most imporant herbs for medicine and is commonly included in Chinese cuisine.
